Sep 8th - 1st day of school prep

Updated: Sep 6, 2019

It's hard to believe that summer is almost over! We are looking forward to welcoming everyone back to school! We will hold a short meeting on Sep 8th at 8:30am to go over some important items for the year. We want to make sure we start the year right and your participation is essential to ensuring that everyone is on the same page and ready to go.

Here is what to bring to school:

  • 3 or 4 pencils (not color); already sharpened (please note that we don't allow pencil sharpening in the classroom to avoid distraction during class and to ensure we keep the classroom neat)

  • Bottle of water

  • Small notebooks where the teacher can leave notes regarding behavior, preparation for and participation in class. Parents will be responsible for signing the notebook after each week to acknowledge they have read the messages.

Please note that we don't allow the following:

  • Bringing food in the classroom - kids have breaks that can be used for snacking. Please let them know they need to use the common areas for that rather than the classroom areas.

  • Electronics of any kind.

  • Toys and other items that could cause a distraction.

  • Books and any other items that do not pertain to the school material.
